A curious fifth-grader, Jackson, finds his new obsession when his classmate whips out her special Rubik’s Cube. When Jackson accidentally acquires it, he finds out that it is not as easy as it looks. Jackson tries to teach himself how to solve it and nearly gives up when a special friend, Mr. R, appears to help him. Mr. R teaches Jackson more than just how to solve the cube; he learns that it is okay to be different.
